Mission Statement The Society for Collegiate Travel Management (SCTM) shall function and be generally recognized as the premier source for networking and cross-functional communications within the college and university travel community. As a collective society we shall identify challenges facing collegiate travel management in a rapidly changing industry and provide opportunities for growth, understanding, and the further advancement of academic travel. Vision The Society for Collegiate Travel Management is dedicated to creating and nurturing an environment which stimulates innovative uses of technology, best practices and industry knowledge for the mutual benefit of both those seeking travel related services and those providing such services. We continually adapt to the evolving needs and aspirations of our conference participants and the academic environment. SCTM Facts SCTM is a professional non-profit organization that has been in existence since 1986. SCTM reaches out to over 800 colleges and universities with a combined purchasing power of over 7 billion dollars. SCTM is a unified group of colleges and universities that promotes the greater awareness of travel management in the collegiate environment. SCTM holds an annual educational conference.
